Holy Trinity is strongly dedicated to children's Christian education. Our goal is that children grow in their knowledge of Scripture so that they will grow into adults who are capable of understanding the Bible for themselves. We have dedicated teachers who are enthusiastic about teaching the Bible to children.
Our Sunday School is the core opportunity for us to teach children the Scriptures.
There are three different classes:
- 3 - 5 year-olds
- 1st - 3rd grade
- 4th - 6th grade
Each week, the children first gather as a group for fifteen minutes to sing songs, celebrate birthdays, and to learn about the different parts of the worship service in order to better understand and participate in worship with the adults. During the remainder of the hour, the children work through a Bible lesson and a Scripture memory passage in their respective classrooms.
At the end of the month, during the worship service, the children recite together the verses of Scripture that they have learned in Sunday School.
